Taylor Swift needs to take the backlash out of silence for 2024 Golden Globes host Jo Koy.
The comedian made a joke during the month of June.
«The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” Koy said, as the camera panned over to Swift making a face and taking a sip of her Champagne.
Swift, who attended the Globes ceremony in a green Gucci gown and De Beers jewelry, has yet to respond to the comedian’s joke.
Where Jan. 11, Swift’s friend and Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh Teller, shared yet another photo of the singer during Koy’s controversial monologue.
In Teller’s TikTok, Swift is pouring herself a glass of Moët & Chandon as Koy is on the Globes stage. Teller accompanied Swift and sat next to her during the awards ceremony.
During the ceremony, other Swift reactions went viral — including when she and Selena Gomez were talking during commercial breaks.
The singer’s concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, received Golden Globe nominations for cinema and box office achievement. The category is one of the two categories that acquire this year’s awards show. «Barbie» faces home awards in the Swift nominated category, but singer happily cheered Margot Robbie, director Greta Gerwig and cast when they won.
This wasn’t Swift’s first Golden Globes nomination. This news nominated in 2023 for the original song, but is not in attendance.
Before the singer made her way through the red carpet, people were wondering if she would be at the Globes or at the Chiefs game on Sunday. Swift has attended five Chiefs games in a row — and Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers happened to be in California.
While Kelce’s team had a game, the athlete was designated inactive while the Chiefs gear up for the NFL playoffs.
